let's see how far we've come

Susquehanna University's seventh Hurricane Relief Team spent Dec. 14 to 20 in New Orleans working with Katrina Corps in cleanup and rebuilding efforts. This blog is starting off with a photo and narrative documentation of the trip itself. It will also be a place to follow the progress being made in the Gulf region.

More talk about clearing out the homeless camp under Claiborne Avenue. The city is changing nonprofit agencies to work with, moving from one that tried to put the homeless in permanent housing to one that puts them in a shelter. Sounds like they're taking the easy road, to me.
